Sample clearance & legal

A short, plain-language notice.

Discovery, not licensing

Fundstoff helps you find tracks that could inspire or become samples in a musical project. Playback happens through the official YouTube player. Nothing on Fundstoff grants you a right to use, reproduce, sync, or release any recording or composition.

Before you release

Any commercial release, streaming upload, sync placement, or public performance that uses a sample from a track discovered here must be cleared with both the master recording owner (usually the label) and the publisher (composition rights). This is often called "sample clearance" and can require paid licenses.

Not legal advice
