How Fundstoff handles your data.
Controller
Dragan Milicevic, Niedermühlstr. 30, 64646 Heppenheim, info@fundstoff.de — see the imprint.
Account and login
If you sign in with Google, we store your user ID, email address, display name and profile picture in order to run your account, your library and your rooms. Legal basis: performance of a contract (Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR).
Content you create
Saved items — music tracks, videos, tutorials/articles, podcasts, providers and experts — are stored with your user ID, including title, source URL, source/platform, author, channel or provider, preview image, an external ID and type-specific metadata (e.g. duration, views, description). Rooms, comments, ratings, tags and votes are stored the same way. Content in public rooms, including these saved entries, is readable by anyone, also by visitors who are not signed in.
API keys stored locally
Your YouTube and Serper API keys are stored only in your browser's local storage. They never reach our servers; requests to those services go out directly from your browser.
Embedded videos
Videos are embedded via youtube-nocookie.com. When you start playback, Google receives your IP address and may set cookies. Google's privacy policy applies.
Reach measurement for ad slots
For topic partnerships and sponsored public rooms we count impressions, clicks and room views in purely aggregated daily totals. No IP addresses, user IDs, device identifiers or cookies are used, no profiles are created and no data is passed on to third parties. Because nothing is stored in or read from your device, no consent banner is required (Section 25 TTDSG); legal basis: legitimate interest in measuring reach (Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR).
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To delete your account and data, contact us at the address in the imprint.
